Create rich, nature-inspired candles with Forest Green Candle Dye Blocks. This concentrated solid candle dye produces shades ranging from a soft woodland green to a deep forest green, depending on the wax and the amount of dye used.

The Forest Green Candle Dye Block is compatible with both soy wax and paraffin wax. Soy wax is naturally white and opaque, so it commonly produces a softer, more muted Forest Green shade. Paraffin wax may produce a clearer, deeper and more saturated green. Fragrance oil, additives and dye concentration may also affect the final result.

For a lighter green, shave a small amount from the block and add it gradually to fully melted wax. Use more dye to create a darker and more saturated forest green. This color can also be blended with other candle dye blocks to develop custom shades such as sage, emerald, pine, olive and nearly black green.

Available as a single block, a 12-block pack, or a 60-block pack, this candle dye is suitable for testing new formulas, making small batches, and producing candles in larger quantities.

For reliable results, create a complete test candle using the intended wax, dye, fragrance, additives, vessel or mold, and wick. Allow it to cure and conduct a full burn test before beginning production.

    Creating custom colors

Forest Green Candle Dye Blocks can be blended with other candle dye blocks to create custom shades:

    • Forest Green + yellow: Leaf green, moss green or warm botanical green
    • Forest Green + blue: Emerald, teal green or deep evergreen
    • Forest Green + brown: Olive, earthy green or woodland green
    • Forest Green + black: Dark pine, hunter green or nearly black green
    • Forest Green + a small amount of red: Muted green, military green or earthy olive
    • Forest Green + orange: Warm olive, khaki green or autumn green
    • Forest Green + a small amount of purple: Deep jewel green or shadowed evergreen
    • A small amount in natural white wax: Sage, eucalyptus or soft pastel green

Add the second color gradually and record every measurement so the custom shade can be reproduced. Always evaluate a fully cooled wax sample because melted wax usually appears darker than the finished candle.

    Product type: Concentrated solid dye

    Dye Type: Block

    Dye Color: Forest Green

Candle dye results can vary according to the wax type, natural wax color, fragrance oil, additives and dye concentration. Soy wax may produce a lighter or more muted Forest Green shade than paraffin wax.

The finished shade can be affected by:

    • Type and natural color of the wax
    • Amount of dye used
    • Size and thickness of the dye shavings
    • Fragrance oil
    • Wax additives
    • Mixing temperature
    • Cooling and curing conditions
    • Lighting conditions

Melted wax may look darker than the finished candle. Always evaluate a completely cooled sample before adjusting the formula or pouring the full batch.
