Create brighter, whiter candles with White Candle Dye Flakes. Developed as an improved alternative to traditional white dye blocks, these concentrated flakes melt smoothly into candle wax at 160–180°F and provide even, consistent color throughout the batch.

The flake format makes the dye easy to measure, add, and clean up. Compared with our previous white dye block, these flakes produce whiter results and are designed to burn off more easily, helping reduce the possibility of dye buildup that may interfere with the candle wick.

Choose the size that best fits your candle-making needs:

    • 1 oz. pack (30 grams): Colors approximately 10–11 lbs. of candle wax
    • 1 lb. bag: Colors approximately 100–110 lbs. of candle wax

Available for both small-batch projects and larger-scale production, White Candle Dye Flakes provide a convenient way to add brighter white color to candle wax.

The finished shade may vary depending on the natural color of the wax, the amount of dye used, fragrance oil, additives and other parts of the candle formula. Begin with a small test batch, allow the wax to cool completely and conduct a full burn test before beginning production.

    Product type: Concentrated flakes

    Dye Type: Flakes

    Dye Color: White

The finished white shade can be affected by:

    • Natural color and opacity of the wax
    • Amount of White Candle Dye Flakes used
    • Fragrance oil
    • Wax additives
    • Mixing temperature
    • Candle size
    • Wick type and size
    • Cooling and curing conditions

White dye can help create a brighter, more opaque appearance, but the original color of the wax will influence the final result. Naturally creamy, ivory or yellow wax may not produce the same bright white achieved with a lighter-colored wax.

Some fragrance oils, especially those containing vanillin, may cause candle wax to become cream, tan or brown as it cures. White dye may not completely prevent fragrance-related discoloration.

For reliable results, test the complete formula using the intended wax, dye, fragrance, additives, vessel or mold, and wick. Allow the candle to cure fully and conduct a complete burn test before beginning production.
